of Empowering the Entertainment Industry at Cannes Marché du Film with Partners and Friends
usheru, an innovation-driven technology company working with partners in the film, music, sports and entertainment venue industries, marks its 10th anniversary this year. Since its origin in 2015, usheru has grown to serve some of the world’s leading entertainment organisations, helping them to build long-term connections with their audiences and achieve success. Now, 10 years in, usheru’s founders are looking to the future by recognising the company’s journey thus far.

Reflecting on 10 Years of Collaboration
usheru’s very first client was the Havana Glasgow Film Festival, and since then the company has worked with hundreds of businesses and organisations across 6 continents and 33 countries. The journey has lead to an evolution of the business and its services, with usheru becoming known for delivering tools and insights that help clients build stronger connections with their audiences. From working with film studios and distributors, and to building digital tech for live entertainment venues more recently, usheru’s solutions have been shaped by the needs of its partners, putting their success at the center of its mission.

Some Highlights from the Journey
- Innovation: usheru’s vision of utilising audience relationships to secure marketing longevity for their partners inspired the launch of usheru Connect – a direct-to-audience content discovery platform for film distributors.
- Data: usheru has helped partners promote campaigns for thousands of films and live entertainment events and supported tens of millions of ticket sales and streaming views for partners. This includes over 25786 films linked to partner websites and analytics products.
- Community: usheru’s platform and analytics services have supported partners to expand and grow their own direct-to-consumer communities
- Insights: usheru’s data covers 160 countries for streaming and/or theatrical showtimes.
Partners: usheru’s community focus appealed to entertainment industry innovators beyond the film industry, leading to a groundbreaking contract with Oak View Group, placing usheru’s solutions as the recommended web platform for OVG venues

Andres Macias Oliete, Co-Founder and CTO shared the one thing he is most proud of from this 10 year journey is the usheru team.

Continuing the celebrations throughout the summer, usheru will hold a second celebration in the USA this June with a focus on live entertainment partnerships.
