usheru Announces ‘Unlock The Community’ Initiative in Partnership with the European Union

Dublin, 25 May, 2023 – usheru, an innovative company in the film and entertainment industry, has announced its new initiative, ‘Unlock The Community’, in collaboration with the European Union. The announcement was made during a launch event at the Creative Europe Pavilion at Cannes Marche Du Film, Friday 19 May 2023.

‘Unlock The Community’ is a multifaceted project aimed at fostering and growing communities of fans for partners in three main categories: National Film Bodies, Film Distributors, and Arenas. Supported by funding from the EU and in collaboration with one selected partners from each category, usheru will work with industry innovators to use modern technological tools for fostering growing communities to drive film industry growth.

“It’s wonderful to see such enthusiasm for community building from across the entertainment space. The feedback we have gotten and the support from the European Union shows the extent of need that is felt for innovation on this front. “

The first round of applications for partnership proposals will open on 1 June and close on 30 June. Partners will be selected based on their vision, their engagement with their community, and their potential for growth and impact.
